If someone were, in a spirit of good humour, to pop a bin bag over a camera, without damaging it in any way, what offence would they be committing?

And if everyone were to do this on a regular basis, how much of a PITA would this be for the partnerships?

Please note that this is idle speculation, not incitement of any kind, and that I fully support cameras in urban areas where they are justified. As long as there is a light up sign in front of them, and they are time sensitive. And yellow.

Trouble is a bag is obvious and any BiB driving along will likely see it and do something about it. I've seen various other suggestions along the lines of vaseline on the lens which would be more effective and less obvious.

Not that I would condone anything like that oh no no no not at all no sir.

Or a mirror over the lens so it would look like glass from the outside but take a picture of it's own arse.

a row of lads showing their ar**s while one of them swung a steel bucket on a rope, round his head.

If they really wanted you - you could be classed as a terrorist and locked up indefinetly without trial.

Blair's SS GB is here. You wanted him, now you got him.

look for supplies for etching and misting glass. If you get any on you there is a good chance you'll have to have it amputated. HF is nasty stuff.

Not your local chemist, and not in glass bottles. I do NOT recommend you using HF unless you are properly trained and equipped. It is extremely toxic and may be fatal if inhaled or ingested. It is readily absorbed through the skin and skin contact may be fatal. It causes severe burns and also acts as a systemic poison and is a possible mutagen. Mmm chemistry classes. Ill never forgive that chemistry teacher for dousing me with (dilute) hydrocholoric during the lovely home made fire extinguisher experiment. Thank god I still had to wear glasses back then, otherwise dilute or not, id probably be blind.

Problem with the bucket idea is that you'd have to swing the bucket at about 5 revs/sec on a metre long rope to set it off. The most I can manage is about 2
