Sorry for your loss, hope you recover it soon with no further damage. BTW - for identification purposes, was the Christmas tree still on the roof? - Streaky

If the tracker isn't working, I reckon its either underground, in bits, and in a shipping container.

On my recent trip through Africa something that stuck out like a sore thumb was....

Shipping container points, the car parks were full of new or nearly Mercs & Beemers, all somewhat odd in the middle of of Africa where poverty is the main source of income.

I should imagine its currently being loaded onto a boat as we speak

Who said this? Your name appears to be blanked out. Or are you the person with no name?

Sadly it won't be chav scum, it'll be organised criminal gangs who have order books slammed full of Mercs and Beemers needed to steal and sell on.

Fake documents I would guess, or dodgy garages who will repair for them. I would expect that those organised enough to do the crime will also have contacts and moles in major garages to repair the problems for them. Not an expert or anything, just watch too much TV

I know what you mean but I am sure that the brains behind these operations would be able to pay off said chavs nice and cheaply to steal the vehicles then sell them off at a big profit in Africa or wherever. Chavs are stupid though!

Quite agree with you, having had 2 car break-ins (one to steal nothing at all except the smashed window glass , 6 house and garage break-ins and a whole lot of bikes, sports equipment etc gone and a break-in for the camera and CD player at uni, I wouldn't hesitate to hospitalise a burglar and sell my story to the Sun!
