Spousal Employment - Ltd Co, contract needed?

My accountant didn't advise me to set up a terms of contract for employing spouse. I'm wondering if anyone else is in this position and whether they did in fact create a contract of employment?

If you don’t make one then the generic contract that has the statutory requirements will be implied in any case.
You will find one on the ACAS website as I recall
