Who should move?
Discussion
Hi.
Saw some road rage happen around where I live today just got me thinking, basically as most housing estates have s*** parking there were a bunch of parked cars blocking the left hand side of the road which also were obscuring a junctions view to the right further ahead.A chav comes speeding out of the junction in a Vauxhall Corsa and both cars stop dead as the vauxhall refuses to moved.
Who should have moved?

As per Highway Code:
Doesn't stipulate which direction or side of the carriageway traffic on the main road is travelling.
Highway Code said:
Rule 172
The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.
(I know the Highway Code isn't 'the law')The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.

It’s ‘should have’.
Your welcome.
It's "you're" Your welcome.

OP referencing your diagram the black shaded car emerging from the junction should have give way to the other car, can't believe you're even asking....

The Corsa driver shouldn't have pulled out and is definitely in the wrong. I also feel they should be the one to reverse as it's the shorter distance and the other car was already on the road the Corsa driver moved into. It's also likely they have much more space and an easier reverse than the other car.
