Considering the backlash over the M4 scams, I haven`t seen any mention of these.

On the M20 coastbound just before the jct with the M26, there is a really long downhill section. There are at least 6 scamera warning signs every 100yards, but no camera. Is this a mobile site?

It`s dead easy to get caught out here - the truck creeps up to 0.8 leptons if you are not careful, and thats with the exhaust brake on!

Is that the one that drags on the road underneath Morris Marinas? - Streaky

IIRC, an exhaust brake stuffs something up the pipe to choke the engine. Is that right? I remember going on a coach in Switzerland and it had one for the mountain passes. Crude, but seems to work.

BTW, a lepton is a class of subatomic particle that includes the electron and positron. I guess they must move pretty fast!

You had me going for a minute. Been to Calais today and made progress there and back!!!

Luckily we used the M26, so didn't see the signs

I'm a bit hard of thinking - I'm not sure exactly where you mean.

The M26, AFAIK, is west of the M20, so if you are coastbound and on the M20, you have already passed the M26.

There are plenty of signs on the A249.

This is just down the road from me and the only place I've seen a MOBILE scamera is here:
www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=565460&y=159310&z=3&sv=565500,159500&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=754

but that was sometime ago now.....

Nope.
That section of M20 is regularly used at car mach 1 upwards as Wrotham Hill is slightly steep

Many years ago, after passing my test I had a motorway lesson with my driving instructor. We went up to car mach 1.2 as he felt it was a safe place to learn about speed

I use this bit of the motorway fairly regularly and there was a mobile one there about 3 weeks ago. I reckon I passed it at 80 (+/- 5) no NIP this time.
The location is probably www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=563655&y=159040&z=3&sv=563500,159500&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=754

Any of the bridges over the M20 are suspect. Got done 4 years back from one nearer the M25 @ 96mph

Guys

Yes there is often a mobile site on one of the bridges over this section. It is the bit of the M20 that climbs over the North Downs at Wrotham, runs alongside the A20.
