After starting my other thread (last week) on not sending goods, I’m now receiving E mails from a E bay scammer. I’m 100% sure it’s a scam, but one of the E mails produced had photos of the vans V5, alongside driving licence with the same address as the V5 aswell as a photo of his Passport
. This actually had me doubting my suspicions, but it was soon followed by getting van delivered, using E bay protection etc. The English used in the E mails stinks of a scam, but the photos mentioned earlier clearly show the guy is Croatian, so again makes you think twice. I’m happy to upload the photos and text, if it’s allowed? as I’m curious to know if my thoughts are genuinely justified and how they come across all this stuff.
ps. Original advert was on Gumtree and advertised as the vehicle being in South Shields, before all the talk switched to using E bay and him living and working in Scotland (funny old thing, about as far North as you can go).
