The "proof" comprises:
One picture of the front of the vehicle, showing two occupants as blurs, and an unreadable front numberplate.
Two close-up pictures of your front number plate, which could have been taken in the local supermarket car park for all the context they have.
A "primary" time on distance calculation alleging your speed.
A "secondary" time on distance calculation alleging to corroborate the primary speed measurement, but which in reality has been measured using a second identical system, therefore is no corroboration at all.
You can tell I was impressed!

Someone I know has had no front number plate for about 2 years. This makes him immune to Truvelo and SPECS cameras. Not once has he been pulled over or criticised for it, except at the first MOT the garage replaced it. At the second MOT, after it had "fallen off" again, the same garage just said "Oh yeah we remember, you don't have a front number plate" and left it at that.
Car looks much nicer without, too.

My front numberplate has a "quick release" mechanism to help prevent overheating on trackdays.
Ahh, the wonders of velcro
