Apparently received one today at my house in the uk that is sold stc.
I live abroad and am registered resident there.
How do I deal with this?

Tia

To be clear I was in the uk with my uk registered car at time of alleged offence

Email or phone the issuing Police force, tell them you were the driver but are currently out of the Country and ask them what you should do?

Radical idea time. Get it scanned or photographed as both can be done on a smartphone nowadays. Get them to send it to you. Fill it in and return it to the address

it states on the nip
Sending info by phone is not sufficient and there is no email address to send to in any case.

This is what I did - got it scanned and emailed. Printed it off in internet cafe and then sent it Fedex. The police wont accept a photo of a signed NIP or a printout thereof, but they will accept a scanned and printed nip thats been signed and sent back.

This was done from Cambodia

Thank you, the printing it somewhere would have been my next suggestion. OP, you won’t get a free pass, unless you never intend to use your U.K. licence again.

Only if Cambodia manages to join the EU before the UK leaves. (and I'm not ruling that possibility out smile)

Nothing heard from the force involved so far.

Guess its not worth their effort to pursue this.

I had something similar once, but I was genuinely un-contactable in a far away land. Someone was opening my post for me, sent a letter explaining the situation and they dropped it.
