When does your driving convictions show up on your license? I’ve received a driving ban and it’s been 2 weeks but when i check my license online nothing comes up. Does it appear towards the end of ban?

Also, APNR system on police cars, what information does it hold when it scans registration plates? I’m wondering if when I’m back on the roads, will i continuously be stopped everytime the police scans my plates now that i have a driving ban?

I’m not sure whether they store your driving record with a license plate you’re insured on.

I cannot see how the plate of a car can be registered to a banned driver - others have the right to use your car while you are banned. (And you can always sell....or just change the name of the DVLA registered owner anyhow).

Aside from that, even though the police will indeed take the registered owner to court over a speeding ticket, the document itself does say it is not proof of ownership.....

Sounds to me like your asking "odd" questions to see if you can get away with driving whilst your banned.

I wouldnt worry too much. They seem to be a bit st.

I have never been pulled by an ANPR ping, and how long have they been around? 20 years?

Regularly drive around without tax (not trying to dodge but picking stuff up and forgetting to renew etc).

A friend of mine became a copper and the ANPR pings up a surprising amount of info on the cop car display... If you haven't been caught you've been lucky. I work away for long periods and only tax my cars when I'm home, then sorn when I go back to work so I've often done it myself. Since seeing the ANPR display though, I've been a bit more vigilant.

Absolutely not! 3 month ban was a slap on the face. Don’t want to risk it and increase the disqualification duration!

I’m simply asking when my ban is up and I’m back on the roads will i be stopped continuously to check whether I’m fully legal on the road in terms of insurance, tax etc.

Unless someone places a PNC marker on your car - no.

There are other markers that might not go on PNC - So if the vehicle is recorded as being used in an offence (eg it was the car being driven when someone was stopped an ultimately prosecuted for Drink Driving) that might prompt a "hit" prompt an Officer to look closer.

Oh i see. It’s because i was watching a police video of a guy getting pulled over for a “possible suspended drivers license” when he scanned the registration plate so i was wondering if they do that here.
