Seems like a self-appointed parking busybody got so incensed by a marked Police car in the residents parking area he left a note threatening to clamp them: Story
Just what is it with these people who get so wound up by emergency service vehicles? It's usually ambulances that seem to get it most, but who thinks it would be a good idea to threaten to clamp a bloody marked Police car?!

That's nothing, I saw 3 cop cars parked sideways across all three lanes of the M40 not that long ago. The bloody fire engines and ambulances were even worse. All those flashing lights just so their show-off mates could land their bloody helicopter! No regard for people trying to use the motorway at all 
Ouote - Officers took to social media to say the car was parked "professionally and considerately".
How do you park professionally, do they mean by a valet whos profession it is to park cars.
If it was parked professionally then they are crap at their job as they cant read the signage.
Parked conciderately - not very conciderate to the residents is it.
Why not just say it was an emergency and if we circled for 10mins to find a space the criminal would have got away. Why be all PC.

Not sure why West Mids need to make such a song and dance of this. Quick note on the incident log that an irate resident left a note on the car - then move on.
Because it highlights the absolute bell-endery that they have to endure. No different to the ambo ones that get posted.

I feel they dont do themselves any favours in the PR department (obviously emergency parking is different)

This obviously annoys people who see it as an example of do as I say, not as I do.
The person who wrote the note, being a nobber aside, probably didn't realise they were attending a burglary as I doubt the car was left with all lights and sirens on.
As for "parked professionaly" etc, a car can be parked neatly but still illegally
