This is unreal, if true. David Edgar - the NotsoAccurate chap - has been forcibly removed from his house, whilst unconscious, by two West Midlands coppers for god only knows what reason:

www.notsoaccurate.com

And people wonder why respect for the police is at an all time low.

Carl - are you in contact with David? Is he ok?!?!?!

Are the BiB's in uniform allowed not to wear numbers on their shoulders?

More news please!!

No mate, only through Paul Smith, though I do have a couple of e-mail address for him, but I know he gets insane amounts of mail so doesn't reply often.

I'm sure he's OK physically, and I'm sure Paul will speak to him later on today so we'll get an update then.

Still, shocking stuff, looks like this is what you can expect if you try and stand up for yourself in this country.

Whether it was right or wrong to arrest him, for police to behave towards an old chap like that is nothing short of thuggery

Sad when we live in a democracy, but can't exercise our freedom freely!

We are free to do what they (government) let us do!

Why did they arrest him???

I've already circulated the link to my address book.

The more people know about the Police State the better...

Worryingly accurate - police openly breaking into someone's house like that can only be an act of a police state.

I would imagine Wildy is more aware than me, but I studied the rise of the Third Reich for A-level...and they were ELECTED, and supported by a majority of the voting populace initially...by the time the Brownshirts had revealed the NSDAP's true colours, it was too late...and you ended up with neighbour betraying neighbour just so they "appeared" loyal and protected themselves.

Clearly New Labour are not comparable. Certainly not yet. But several times before people on here have used the phrase "thin end of the wedge". Well, IMHO, that wedge just got a whole lot thicker! Three weeks after the election.

Jumping to some very fast conclusions here chaps!
Unconscious?
Was he in need of help?
Has he been arrested or a kindly neighbour not hearing from him for some time reported a fear for welfare?
Has he committed a criminal offence?
Is he a drug dealer?

Looks like they are uniformed Polie not Stazi as Mrs Cat refers!

Some forces wear numbers on the badge pinned to the chest and not on the shoulders.
There is no requirement for numbers to be worn in law. It is force policy that they are! In more 'robust opertaions they are very often not worn !

When you find out exactly why this photo was taken and for what reasons this David person was removed from his house, then you might have some cause to place a thread like this

For you information, all arrests require force. Anyone who is arrested has force used on them to some degree or another. Taking someones liberty requires force !!

Weell,

The Nazi's were socialists too

I am amazed by this action , I would be interested to know the reasons behind this.

Exactly!

You do not know for what!
You do not know even if he has been arrested because he has not told he has

I see no post on this site from him telling us he has been arrested yet

Oh dear, West Midlands Police have spectacularly dropped a bollock again.

I hope that poor chap is o.k.

Edited to add: Provided this is all as it seems, as Officer gone has pointed out.

I really hope the European courts manage to do something BIG about this, and bring it out. They want to get right to the bottom of this.
Clearly goes a long way up if the police complaints comission won't do anything about it!

This kinda crap can't go on. If you get too big for your boots (which your entitled to do, as we do live in a democracy), if the gov don't like you, they'll get you, make up some crap about you, like kiddy porn or drugs, and bang you away before you cause any trouble.

Poor guy. Standing up for his rights, and he gets none exercised in return! From the people that are supposed to PROTECT our bloody freedom.

Sick sick b4stards in power

Having formally complained to The Chief Constable of West Midlands Police Mr. Edgar was then ignored therefore he made a formal complaint to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, this was also ignored therefore Mr. Edgar then attempted to commence legal proceedings against the police but was refused by the Courts.

Mr. Edgar has now taken his case along with this video evidence to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasburg, in addition the PM has been informed.

Would he really do all that for fun if they hadn't done this unlawfully Gone?
