This has just appeared on a road near Norwich.

They state that while testing no one will be prosecuted.

I guess the benefit is that it can be mounted to any sign/lamp post or whatever without the need for a van etc.

That piece of cable looks a bit vulnerable. I'm guessing this is just a prototype.
