Yup, long gone and probably in bits by now.

They had some nerve rocking up like that.

Must have been a strong winch to drag it up and with the handbrake engaged.

And probably made a hell of a noise as well, but society seems to be much of the 'it's not my problem' attitude these days.

There’s very few of the cars parked there in a way they could get the truck just in front of them like that. I wonder if they were just cruising the area looking for a suitable candidate to lift? Absolutely brazen.

Or possibly it's a car that has been parked there for a while, maybe it was seen overnight and so they knew it wasn't a customer or staff? If not then I assume they have a story ready, or maybe they would just unhook the car and drive off and let it roll/fall off wherever!

Yup. PH also has a few of them. If anyone speaks against their suggestion to ignore it and crack on, they go full on mental and put up outrageous claims about what will happen next.

It was on Facebook - the owner worked at the garden centre - so likely parked there quite often.

I suspect stolen to order.

This happened recently with an R34 Skyline, people turned up with a recovery truck and simply winched it away.
Where I work looks over a large motorcycle bay in London and thefts where they lift the bikes away is a daily occurance and the police don't seem to be able to do much, only way to get round this would be to clamp the wheels to make it harder for them.

We had a car taken the same way, it was parked legally on a side street, end of the row. A transporter pulled up, winched it up and off it went.

Car alarms are irritating background noise. I can't remember the last time I saw or heard anyone responding to one, unless they believed it was their car.
