D1 Provisional Entitlement

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so mods, feel free to move.

I recently submitted a form to the DVLA along with the relevant medical form to add the D1 provisional entitlement to my licence in preparation for doing my test.

However, I have just got my licence back and against D1 on the back, there is no date showing. Now I know I haven’t passed the test but my licence looks exactly the same as it did before and I don’t know if they’ve done what they need to.

Anyone able to advise?

Try checking online to see what classes are listed.

I genuinely clicked on this because I thought it was going to be about drifting and the D1 GP lol

You'll get a new card once you pass and it'll be on there. That's what happened with mine about 3 years ago

Check the 'vehicles you can drive' section of your driving record: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

At the bottom of the page is a list of 'Vehicles you can provisionally drive.'

I hope you ticked D and C on the D2 form because that will cover the D4 medical for all future PCV & LGV categories as well as saving you from another D2 form - did you???????
