was this a camera van

slight chance i got caught just over the limit ,but then not sure it was a camera van

fluro yellow van with chevrons on the back doors , no lettering /signs at all other than chevrons , and the back window were just just plain black glass rather than having the smaller opening window in a window type thing ive seen before

am i right thinking it should have had a camera sticker or some lettering and would also have the opening small window ?

between 45 -50 , more i think about it could it have been a motorway maintenence van or something , was a bit tired looking too

All the camera vans Ive seen had the camera sign on the back with "safety" partnership written down the side. I'm not saying they all do though. Sounds more like a work force welfare van.

Theres a sneaky one on the M6 roadworks that looks like a works van.

All the ones I've seen have "Police" or a speed camera sign on them. So hopefully nothing for you to worry about.

I got caught by one a few weeks ago, nothing on the back to indicate it was a camera van

I saw one last week that looked like it was painted for cbeebies rather than a police van!

If it was North Yorkshire it looks like anything goes now!

^ yup seems to be anything goes in Yorkshire and Lancashire. There’s a plain yellow van that sits about around Penrith with just a small black and white camera sticker on it.

It is a works van - it's measuring the speed of site traffic, not M6 traffic.
