PCN NCP - ANPR

Hi,

What a joke, a PCN in my mailbox today that happened on the 26/07 and was sent on 27/08 received today.

NO way did I intend to not pay, I put my card in the machine to get a ticket, nobody around on other vehicles had tickets so I assumed I was picked up on ANPR and then charged for whatever I used. Bearing in mind this is nearly 6 weeks ago, I remember putting in my reg number into the machine as well.

No ticket was issued from the machine when I put the CC details in leading to my assumption.

I've just appealed this so lets see what happens, but has anyone had a similar appeal they've won here with NCP.

Credit card statement showing the payment?

I haven't got anything on my statements because for some reason payment wasn't made.

Recall from memory;

1. Card inserted into machine, I think Number plate was entered
2. No Tickets on any other car in the place, people in front did exactly the same as what I'd done

I guess the best I can do is plead innocence.

I'll be stressing I use NCP in London a lot as well with proofs of purchase.

Winds me up because I was only in there for 45 minutes.

They won't care if you're a long standing customer spending x amount each month, they won't care the machine didn't process the transaction fully, they won't care about anything other than chasing you for the PCN amount, in full. Scumbags.

What do NCP's Ts&Cs say about what to do in the event that a ticket is not issued when you think you've paid?

Different company, same event : Britannia.
