Number plates cameras etc

I've recently been told that the fine for no nunber plate is £25.00, no points, nothing else.

Guess what i'm thinking, If this is true :-

No speeding fines, no points, no anoying git telling me that my number plate is illegal (even though it fits the holder)

Has anyone else heard this??

I've heard that better still, you can opt for a producer for these types of offences and escape the £25 quid fine.

I allowed my rear number plate to become totally invisible with dirt and drove around like it for months and months.

Eventually I was stopped and made to clean it in front of Plod.

No problem. I'd have done it again but before it got that dirty I wrote off the van on a massive deer on the A14.
