Joking apart, that looks to me a bad bust for bad stuff.
The BSB, like too many regulators, is IMO a bit too soft on bad deeds. It seems to enjoy the low hanging fruit. Be five minutes late with your CPD and you might get a right clobbering; but Bernie Madoff the little old ladies and the cats' home, and you might get a Paddington Hard Stare.

I don't think "management-speak" is unique to legal people, people n all industries tend to use it. Possibly because they've been on the same training course "How to pretend you're an Inspirational Leader using meaningless phrases".I love the passive-aggressive "I'm considerably better than yow because I got a first from Balliol dontchaknow" comments on that thread between UK and non-UK lawyers....
Friday has rolled on! I am off on a biz travel caper, which may include a quick swerve to Hong Kong in order to do some meety meetings, but I am trying to avoid having a meeting with Ian M. He is, I should say, enormously successful, and his office makes a shedload of money, but he manages to annoy people quite a lot.
Back on the website, the glamorous solicitor prizes are sometimes almost as good as the bonkers law firm websites, but the core of the site remains the b
hing and moaning about how sucky it is to work in a big law firm. My teenage daughter loves Suits, The Good Fight, and so on, but I try to tell her that real life isn't quite like that. I wish my life to be like Boston Legal, but find that rocking up to meetings and saying "Denny Crane" doesn't always work.
