M4 Swindon - point to point cameras?

Are there cameras on the M4 near swindon that measure you over a fixed distance? Seem to remember something on this a while back and scanned the archives and didn't spot anything. Having blazed through there on a virtually empty motorway at the weekend I'm suddenly feeling a little worried!!!

Nah, just plain old camera vans....
They put them on the bridges that are over the motorway at various points. It should be easy to see and identify since the bridges are infrequently used (mainly farm access ones for example), but are painted white for the Wilts Scameraship - so no bright orange colours etc....
But, since going live and using that section many times, I have only seen a van 3 times. I do travel at unusual times so might miss them. But worth being careful though - dont want to get a ticket....
.... unlike the bloke in the Scenic today near bath in the roadworks. Since they are down to 40MPH, 99.99% of the traffic slows down. Even the most un-observant would notice this.... but no, obviously not. Mr Scenic driver thought it fine to then stick to a stead 75MPH through the roadworks and hence the camera.... expect to see something in the post shortly....

That was a hoax.
). No Scamera Vans about so that section was dispatched at well over a lepton on the way to Devon at the weekend!
