I sped up on the white calibration lines, am I done?

Went through the active camera near headley on the m25 going towards ldn, was accelerating through the camera, halfway through the white lines notice my speed is 79mph, meaning I probably entered it at 76, 77 or 78mph, and then reached 79 near the end of the lines.
Would the radar have clocked me at below prosecution speed? I didn't see a flash and I only reached prosecution speeds of 79mph near the end.
Does the radar measure the speed constantly through the lines, or only at the start of the lines? And if it did clock me at 79, I don't think it would have had time to flash me twice on the calibration lines...
Essentially am I nicked?

The flashes are pretty bright, I haven't been flashed by one but I think you would notice it duriing the day, and certainly at night. Also at those speeds I think you will be below the threshold. I have heard of the odd ticket on forums for under 80 but it seems to be pretty rare.
Gives me hope... I believe the threshold is 10%+2mph, meaning prosecution starts at 79mph, but hopefully not..Raqsta said:
Thing is, it was daytime and could only really see the white polo on my bumper behind me so sort of blurred my eyes and tried to see if there was a flash but still unsure.

I have seen a double flash behind me in the daytime and I could notice it. Although it was a gloomy day and not sunny. Are speed cameras capable of activating and then flashing twice when you're halfway through the white lines?
I don’t know if they’re capable of doing that.

I’m no expert but I think the threshold tends to be above 10% +2 ie you generally need to be doing at least 80mph to get a ticket. Also if you were reading 79mph from the speedo they tend to read up a bit, hence I’d think if you speedo was reading 79 then true speed was a few mph less anyway. I live 100 miles from my office and regularly drive the 200 mile round trip to work (albeit much further north than the M25), with that sort of mileage getting a ban would be very easy, my habit is to set the cruise control at exactly 79 mph and in the 5 years I been doing this I’ve driven past many camera vans at that speed and never had a ticket. So long as you’re sure it was 79 you were looking at on speedo I’d think you’ll be fine.
As others have said, the flashes are extremely bright at night, its hard to imagine that you could get flashed and not notice, example in that video.

Though, I imagine the camera may not have been active:- The only active cameras on the M25 are the HADECS3 cameras, mounted on the side of the gantry.
They do not require the calibration lines either to measure or prosecute (They also don't _need_ a visible flash) - If you have a google maps of the suspect gantry, It'd be easy to find out if it is Hadecs or not (Yellow boxes on the left hand post)

Yeah that's my error, this particular gantry is parralel to the right of church lane in Headley. A speed camera map tells me this particular gantry has fixed speed cameras, but they're 4 grey gatsos, not hadecs. I don’t get why the people that post these “I drove through an Amber, will I go to prison”, “I had 72mph showing on my gps but 73 on my Speedo and the cop was parked in the service station but might have seen me as he ate his sandwich” people don’t just ride bicycles instead. Their lives seem very stressful.
