whilst I agree with most of what you say, did you scrub off any speed when you clocked them? You might have been lucky if you anchored up quick enough to sub 80?

I think some thunderct got me last night on a road I never speed on, momentary lapse of concerntration, on a down hill section, spotted said tosser checked my speed and car was reading 80...

I may be lucky but I doubt it, Dorset Wker partnership took record fines last year, ever since we got those grass skirt wearing lib-dem tpots in they seem to breed scamera operators weekly.

Even saw a scamervan being driven by a chav sporting a burbery cap the other day......

Spotted the straight away, speedo was reading 85. Scrubbed speed off instantly. There were loads of cars about so it would have been tricky getting a fix, and there was a large signpost in the background. (Failure to use according to ACPO guidelines!) Also, the Porker seems to be tricky to get a fix on due to it's rounded front.

If I get a ticket, it'll be a PACE defence all the way.... ers don't deserve any of my money.

I'm currently fighting two potential SP50s. The second one was for 81 on the M180 at 10am on a sunday morning - got the back of the car. I had no idea until I got the letter the following saturday. I was fizzing with rage the rest of the weekend.

Agree with your sentiments entirely but you may be lucky in that an indicated 85 may be low enough not to score a 'hit'.

Using a GPS vs speedo in my car an indicated 85 shows around 79 - 80 on GPS, You might get away with it.
