Will just be their standard procedure I'd imagine - just consider the uproar, police incident "swept under the carpet" type headlines if they didn't!

I should think so.What good is it if people going to an emergency cause an emergency.
Like Ambulances that attend accidents on a pedestrian crossings by parking the ambulance on the zig zags thereby risking causing an accident.
Lack of logic.
It's called defeating the object.
Needs a full investigation. Could be overly excited police officers acting under the belief that a warning of a terrorist attack means they can do anything they want under the auspices of public safety.
Forget the incident they were supposed to be attending, is it not fairly standard for an investigation after this sort of accident involving police vehicles, especially if there are injuries?
