Hi,
I'm looking to take advantage of the exchange rate and the penchant of US paintball gun makers to make rather fancy stuff to buy one online from the US.

Assuming it meets the airgun requirements..12lbs/sqft etc can l do so without it being confiscated by customs??

Can't see any problems, but ideally it should be sent by a well known courier (like FedEx or similar), customs are rarely a problem in my experience. Avoid anything like regular mail for sending it, over 50% chance it will get lost. It's worth it for the extra cost, though shipping a single item this way is not especially cheap.

I import all sorts of items from the US, never had any problems of any kind no matter what it's been, just avoid anything obviously illegal (knuckle dusters, sword sticks, stun guns etc), for paint ball guns, there would seem to be little problem importing any make or type.

And you can't send absinthe the other way. The drink is illegal in the US.

You also can't send silencers to the US - IN US almost every kind of Firearm is legal, but silencers are illegal. Strangely enough, in the UK you can buy silencers, but not most of the firearms they attach to.

O/T, but just had a thought...it might be a fun and challenging hobby to travel the country paintballing our friend Mr Gatso.

Anyone know where I can get a suitably accurate paintball gun and a supply of suitably difficult-to-remove paintballs?

I did think of this, though kinda worried that the speed of the paintabll / proximity etc may make it taka a photo - so you'd see your photo appear on some police website or worse - a disguise would be in order.

Maybe practice by using a syringe to remove the paint, and replace it with something like paint.
