Can you prove:

that you entered to turn right (indicator showing on photo/)and were prevented from doing so by oncoming traffic or other stationary vehicles waiting to turn right?

No?

Not good.

The offence will be failing to conform to a traffic sign and as such needs a Notice of Intended Prosecution serving on the Reg Keeper or driver within 14 days.

Has this been done?

Yes.

Not good.

I'm not saying they would but if you were indicating to turn right could they pic a frame on the film in which your indicator was in the off part of the flash cycle thereby making it appear that you were not indicating?

Maybe your exit was clear and as you were driving through the box, someone from another lane nipped into your space?

As has been indicated - reasonable doubt can be thrown in to the equation with this offence...

Namely there was space when you entered the junction, but someone filled it or you were turning right and were stopped by oncmoming traffic.

I don't know what the appeal process is, but if it's a London Borough I assume you are guilty unless you can prove you were on the moon at the time...

I am losing count of the umber of times I get beeped for not moving off into a box junction when I am going straight on. I am not prepared to risk getting stuck on one, so I will not move in stop-go traffic until I am certain that my exit will be clear. Euston Road is one of the worst spots.

Buses of course take no notice whatsoever of box junctions.

In London last week, some dozy bendy bus driver parks the front end in a box junction, (exit blocked)(which he could clearly see before he entered the box, I was looking) and the back half stuck over the pedestian crossing, as I crossed behing the bus, then noticed the driver chuck his apple core out of the window
