Bunch of yoofs downstairs letting off fireworks. At least 6 of them gathered together, in clear breach of coronavirus regulations and frankly they are disturbing my peace and quiet enjoyment of my property, and also sending sparks up which are landing on wooden balconies.

Not wanting to be the next Grenfell... what would my liability be if I threw a big bucket of cold water on them from 15 floors up?

I preferred boiling oil, but the wife talked me out of it.

Outrageous! Might as well go for the boiling oil then if water is already illegal.

I am not sure you could use fire safety as an excuse for dousing them in boiling oil.

I would go for the bucket of water, if you are that high you could chuck it out of the bucket and be well inside before it hits them, so as to avoid any reaper cushions.

That would make their firework display go like a damp squid.

Squib! (unless it is salty water).

That was my thinking, throw it then duck inside, ensure apartment lights are off first. They’d never know where it came from.

Not many fireworks round me, but some families with children have them so:
a) they finish before kid’s bedtimes
b) I can watch without forking out for them

As bonfire night is now a three week affair these dicks will no doubt be around tomorrow as well. A nicely worded note asking them politely to keep away from your building should suffice. Deliver it Individually with bow&arrow... through the neck would do..
