RTC - Police Never got Back to me

t or dont have time to deal with it? Am I wasting my time chasing it up. I knew full well I'd not hear back.IMHO they don't care because you were on a cycle! get back to them and push for action (it's the only way they'll change). Whilst cycling, I was repeatedly chased by a dog (and had a witness) but Police just spoke to the owners and made comments such as "the dog seems friendly" and after it chased me when it was a mile from it's home they said "but they seem such nice people - they've invited you around for a cup of tea to meet the dog". The owners even admitted the dog chases people and things!
I don't know how I stopped myself from saying "I bet drugged up people seem nice and friendly - do you let them off?"
they ignored it for a further 3 months, and when i said I'd have a word with the local Farmer (because he can legally shoot it) they then issued a Dog Notice still they made the remark "I didn't really want to do it because they seem such nice people" I made the comment "It chased me when It was a mile from its' home, is that why dogs are chipped?" the Officer seemed to get a bit irate. I later found out (from another person who's horse was scared by the dog) that the owners dogs (at least 3 seen by me) aren't chipped. If the mut chases me again I'll escalate it to the Commissioner, because something is fishy

OP - I wouldnt bank on too much happening. A retired Police mate of mine - a keen cyclist was knocked off his bike by a motorist earlier this year. Police attended as he was injured. Despite drivers admissions at the scene and independent witnesses who confirmed the motorist was in the wrong - the process and collisions unit decided to take No further action in the matter

The type of person to put poisoned meat over a neighbouring fence for a barking dog.
