Likely outcome ?
Network Rail and BTP are investigating.
Not sure what there is to investigate as the knobbers registration is clearly visible in the video.
Perhaps the best thing to do would be for BTP to force the owner to re-pose for this photo.....as the 07:38 goods train rumbles through.
The downside is that this could be seen as a waste of a perfectly good VW.
On the positive side, Tik Tok sheep (on seeing the ensuing carnage and the death of the driver) might then think twice about replicating the stunt . . .

It is a diesel... not sure if that would change your opinion.. . However it would certainly do the world some good. The downside is that this could be seen as a waste of a perfectly good VW.

The man with the VW is clearly a retard.
He should watch this clip from Top Gear if he wants to see a likely outcome. Typical Jeremy Clarkson silliness but the underlying message is quite dramatic.

Not really sure of the outrage here, other than being a nobber naturally enough.
So:
1. Checks timetable - no trains Sunday say. (checks them all, frieght and so on)
2. Posts look outs just in case, long line with several minutes warning.
3. Leaves engine running
4. Jumps out, pushes remote control
5. All the time listening for sirens and flashing lights etc.
No more dangerous than old person walking over the junction...
Now clearly did none of the above and normal pistonheads rules apply etc etc
However complete non story.
