I've been flashed earlier by a camera. I was approx. 4 miles over the 30mph limit for the village the camera is in but not sure if I will be expecting something in the post.

I've attached a picture of the camera with road markings here:

http://furkin-gear.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/images/DSC00001.JPG

I was travelling towards the camera, there are marks on the other side of the road but not on the side I was travelling on. More peculiar was that there was a vehicle ahead of me and it was accelearating away and didn't get flashed.

I'd appreciate it if anyone who can help put my mind at ease.

If you mean it flashed as you approached from the wrong side then you should be quite safe.

It's a gatso camera and they snap you from behind taking 2 pics. They use the road markings to see how far you travelled in between the 2 flashes. Don't think you have anything to worry about

It doesn't take a picture.

It's just in "shityouupmode", in fact it doesn't even have a camera in it.

Nothing to worry about.

Er, not true ... and not an answer to the question either [assuming I have correctly discerned your intended meaning from the unusual sentence construction, grammar, spelling and punctuation] - Streaky
