Aside the BLM element, this would give the police the right to shut down almost any protest. And you can bet she’ll try to get it through during lockdown so nobody can protest against it anyway...

You have a right to peaceful protest not disruptive damaging criminal behaviour.

All they have added is noise. Its just another avenue to use, doesn't mean it is going to be used to stop every protest as the link claims. People chanting in the background at a typical non-violent protest is unlikely to disturb anyone seriously behind modern offices double glazed windows.

The fact they go on about extinction rebellion means i loose all respect for the article. ER are criminals as they commit criminal acts. Just because they think they hold the moral high ground, doesnt give you the right to commit vandalism, criminal damage, break LT bylaws and do dangerous things like climb on planes and trains etc inconveniencing and stopping thousands from getting to work costing them money. That is borderline the definition of terrorism.

Yeah, this gets my support. By all means protest. Don't be a dick and inflict it on everyone else. Peaceful protest is peaceful protest. If this was a major erosion of you 'ooman rights, don't you think it would be in the mainstream news?

Bottom line is the world is fed up of scummers using any excuse to go cause an issue for this "horrible society" that "oppresses" them. It couldn't possibly be that they're knuckledragging vermin who haven't washed in months, don't know what a haircut is and education was one of those things other people did.

Genuine protestors want you on thier side to make change, not piss everyone off through disruption. Theres a reason that ER scummer got a good kicking and was dragged off the underground train roof. Not condoning the kicking, although it was appropriate street justice.

When i was in the Navy, i was based at Faslane where there is a permanent "peace camp" in protest at the nuclear weapons. The genuine hippy types there were friendly and talkative and it was not uncommon for the odd drunk sailor to go have a chat and cup of tea with them, infact some sober ones too. However whenever that had a big protest week or period of overt demonstration, youd always get a mix of either middle class pretend hippys who would come down at the weekend, chain themselves to the fence, then go home and put a suit back on for thier office/city jobs and the violent thugs who just come for a fight.
