V62 question

Got a car on sorn that i now want to tax but can’t find my v5. Can I tax it using a v62 form? Usually pay it monthly as it’s usually only used during the summer

My nearest post office is 10 miles away. Gov.uk says you can but isn’t clear on setting up a dd over the counter hence the question

Yes you can tax at a post office with a v62. Or alternatively ring up dvla and request duplicate which will arrive in 5 days then tax online. Choice is yours
