Oops! Bang to rights.

Duel carriage way which is 50, camera van caught me at 69. NIP received today.

None of it matters but clear and sunny, 0733, no other cars.

Returned NIP today stating I was the driver, anyone give me a steer on what to expect?

Clean licence. All taxed and insured etc.

Will keep updated with outcome.

Golly how many times have we done this? That's only if you contest and go to court. You'd be eligible for a SAC at 64 mph.

No idea, I can read road signs and stick to the speed limit. It’s not a target etc.

That's right!

Why else would you need:

"6.2 litre forged Ligenfelter LSA V8 with TVS2300 supercharger. 824hp"

other than to stick religiously to the speed limit jester

I really do wish people in SP&L would learn to keep their traps shut when they do not know what they are talking about!

Chill out, no need to be rude, this is the internet. If he wants legal advice, he should ask a solicitor.

No ideas for a name

BertBert is right...

Best info here from a real motoring barrister (who posts on here and gives very good advice)

Posted his link only to save him the time - no connection with myself.

£100 fine and three points will be offered.

Too fast for a driver awareness course and not fast enough to be sent straight to court on speed alone.

To be frank that is a weakness of forums. Thanks to Google, everyone who can't stop themselves, decides to suddenly become an instant expert on the subject du jour.

to be fair though, there are often questions where the poster could easily have answered the question with a tiny google!

Purely for the naysayers, but could you redact the Notice of Intended Prosecution of personal details and post a picture of it (showing the speed limit and speed alleged) back into this thread ?

Any reason why?

Because, as far as I'm aware, no-one has ever posted a NIP where the speed at which you were caught has been within the 10% + 2 mph.

I.e. in your case below 46mph.

Ok. I also thought that the 10% was a myth.
