Revised contract, accept or effective in 3 months anyway?

Can a service provider, with who I have a contract, send me a new contract (with terms which are worse for me) and state that if I don’t agree the contract in 3 months but continue to trade with them the new contract is valid?

For context it’s the agent running furnished holiday letting for us. Current contract has a 26 week notice period in it (by either party). Even aside from the notice period in the existing contract, it’s totally impractical to change agents in a 3 month period, bookings go out beyond a year with this agent and are at least part paid (and it’s the start of the busy summer season). They know very well no one can practically make a change in 3 months (and that it’s a real pain to do it in any timescale).

I’m feeling like they’re deliberately trying to box me into a corner.
