30mph M4 Slip Road at Slough -- Any Locals?

There was a thread a couple of years ago on this but it could have changed since then.
I previously assumed that the 30mph on the slip road on to the M4 at Slough was temporary and not enforced. Even though the 50mph limit on the main motorway is "temporary" -- insofar as the signs are not permanent despite having been there for years -- I thought the 30mph on the slip road was just a temporary-temporary restriction.
But I noticed yesterday that there is a sign for a speed camera with 30mph written on it -- which suggests the camera is calibrated to 30 on that stretch -- anyone know if this is the case? I was aiming for inside 30 -- but it's sometimes hard to keep it down when it's a road that is normally fast and there are cars right up your backside -- and I'm a little concerned I may have gone slightly over 30 for a little while.

Are you talking about J6? I’ve always been up/down the slip roads at 50mph (have to confess to never seeing 30 signs!) and never had issues. Still not sure why they reduced the A355 to 30mph all the way up to Bath Road though. Most people seem to ignore it anyway!

J7 -- the slip road that starts on the A4 at the roundabout between Taplow Sainsbury's and Sports Direct. I don't see the point of it being 30mph but I stick to it nonetheless. Thanks for replying.Chris
