Next door had a bouncy castle for their kids birthday.
It was supposed to be uplifted tonight but they didn’t turn up. They phoned and were told it would be collected tomorrow.
However they are off on holiday early tomorrow. Fortunately we’re good enough neighbours for them to give us keys to let them in when they come for the castle.
So this is obviously hypothetical but what would have happened if the guys couldn’t get access?
Just their tough luck and they would lose a weeks potential rental.
I can’t imagine they could claim anything from customer? Could they?
I would be pretty certain that they were told it had to be picked up tonight.

The local hire places (bouncy castles, trampolines, marquees) tend to leave it at the last customer until they have a new customer for it to go to, so they don't need to do the double load/store/deliver.
Came to bite one in the arse the other year though, as a marquee that had been left in our neighbours garden (for at least a week) after their party went flying in a storm and put one of it's legs through their patio doors.
