Paid parking fine, keep receiving reminders
Discussion
Had parking offense on 12th April
Paid fine 28th April (bank statement to prove)
Had about 3 reminders since asking me to pay fine with ever escalating charges
Emailed them on the 2nd July saying I already paid , no response from them
Hopefully if a bailiff knocks on my door he will accept my bank statement as proof!
Company is Group Nexus

They'd have to take you to court first, which should be amusing if you've already paid the fine. Paid fine 28th April (bank statement to prove)

When you paid, did you get a receipt showing the payment made was in reference to the actual ticket?
That would end any discussion.
How clear is the bank statement? If very, then it should also be good enough. Maybe the bank can also give you more details of the transaction showing it went to their correct account and all that.
I'd personally give them a call and offer to send a copy of the receipt or statement (blocking sensitive information of course).
Is better than let it all escalate and they still want an 'admin' fee to wipe out most costs because 'you did not contact us'.
My fear with bailiffs is they could say the statement only proves you made a payment to Nexus, that maybe this 'must be another fine, mate....where's yer telly?'
