M3 northbound this morning

Anyone know anything about the accident northbound on the M3 this morning? I came past it around 0850, looked like it had just happened as there were several cars on the hard shoulder, at least one wedged against a fence, and lots of people milling around looking concerned. No sign of emergency services. Colleague went past the same spot 10 minutes earlier and saw nothing. It's now 1130, and from my office window I can still see emergency vehicles in attendance.
