Probate in multiple locations
Discussion
Hello. Ill be brief. I have a situation.
My mum sadly passed away in January and left a will with me as sole executor/ beneficiary.
Sent to UK government, probate issued. They kept will as public docu.
She had money in Ireland, and it transpires probate needs to be granted there.
Irish Probate want original will.
Can the public document be viewed and certified copied by someone? Has eanyone ever encountered this before please?
Thansk.

Does step 2 in the following link help?
https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/death/the_de...
"If the deceased person lived outside of Ireland, you should also send a Court Sealed and Certified copy of the Grant of Representation and will (if there is one) which was issued by the country where the deceased person lived"
I realise it is ambiguous but I read that as meaning a certified copy of the will is what is required.
