Parking on a road with time "no motor vehicles" restrictions

My car is currently parked on a (dead end) road. The only road leading to the one on which I'm parked has a no motor vehicles sign at the start, and some time restrictions (and exclusions for permit holders, which I am not). When I drove in, it was outside those restrictions. When I drive out, it will also be outside those restrictions but the restrictions will have been in place whilst the car was parked there. There are no parking restrictions in force, and no signs on the entrance to the road on which I'm parked.
Does no motor vehicles mean no driving vehicles, or are they completely forbidden from being there? Does the signage apply to the road on which it's placed, or until it's "cancelled" like a speed limit? I looked in the highway code but it's not clear.

You parked on a separate road to the ‘No motor vehicles’ road (and time restrictions) - yes?
To access that road, you drove down the ‘no motor vehicles’ road, but outside of those restrictions - yes?
What then is the issue?
I presume the reason for the restrictions is to stop that road being accessed for commuter parking. I have seen various limitations being applied to prevent parking all day near schools, hospitals, etc.

Both correct, but I don't know what the scope of a no motor vehicles sign is. Is it everywhere beyond that point until cancelled? Is it the road that's signed? Is it for the next 100 yards?To access that road, you drove down the ‘no motor vehicles’ road, but outside of those restrictions - yes?
The timings on the sign (9-9.30 and 3-3.30 or something) and location (there's a school at the end of the road that has the restriction on) lead me to believe it's to stop people driving up the road to the school, but I've no idea if parking or turnings off the road are restricted too.
So did a bit of Googling and found this doc. I'm parked on one of the side streets off lampton which isn't shaded in so I think I'm fine. Still curious as to whether parking would be impacted by the sign or just driving..

The sign is a gateway, the restriction applies to all roads behind it.
However, the flying motorbike sign is usually supported by a “prohibition of driving” traffic order. It depends on the wording in the TRO/TMO (ask your local hughways dept for a copy) but a parked vehicle wouldn’t usually be deemed to be ‘driving’.
My view is you’re fine as long as you aren’t driving on the affected roads during the controlled hours.
