Got stopped and searched this morning while joining the tube. Bib said it was due to my bulky rucksack. Showed him my dirty washing and my laptop. Had a laugh and a joke with the GiB. All very pleasant. Took name, DOB and address.

Interesting this morning (forgot it's a Thursday) - was wondering why there were 6 plod on my little station. Watched two GiBs wandering up and down the platform at that pace known as 'Proceeding'. Stopped a bloke along form me and searched his bag. No clue why they didn't search mine as it was preactically the same size (probably because no self respecting terrorist would be reading a book on Quantum Physics!!!).
Nice to see them out in force but made me wonder at the cost of the extra policing - either in other areas not having sufficiant cover or in the overtime bill the Met will be paying!

Was crappy traffic leaving watford last night, traf pol coming the other way, wound down window and mouthed whats going on, very very cute female blonde driver wound down and said she didnt have a clue, noticed passenger plod was a female red head as well, wouldnt have minded their numbers i can tell you

In London today you'll notice 6 plod on every tube and BR platform. I got away at 2230hrs last night, was back in at 0500hrs after about 3 hours sleep. Am doing at least a 15 hour day today.....can't say why, very hush hush
