Where is it possible to find out what the local forces quota is per month ? I'm angered to the point of breaking seeing one of these mobile vans parked up with an external box camera at the brow of a steep hill = many many $ss.

Why am I angry ? It was 7ish on a Sunday evening and it just so happens to be the last day of the month.

I let this target thing slide when an officer passed me a ticket for 84 on a deserted sunday nights M1 - 'Sorry Sir you are a statistic' - that was over 4 years ago.

Now I'd be interested to see what these targets actually are.

Anyone know ?

This pisses me off enormously too. It's utterly preposterous to have a business model that, in order to function, actively requires people to break the law. It's the same for traffic wardens or whatever they're called this week.

I am meeting my target 100% - every trip in the car, whichever car it is, I make a point to speed at least once. Just a small protest but it's something I promised BRAKE I would do and I've kept my word. May not make any difference but it makes me feel a lot better.

Wasn't there something in TVP, and in Brunstromania ?

It exists ; of course it does. Central Gov't has it's targets for Political Reasons. These are tied to funding and promotion, and are forced down on the BiB.

I can't see the BiB being too impressed with instructions to go out and scam people.
