I have just noticed that all the threads have been deleted - in both the guest and member sections. Could it be anything to do with the fact that, backed up with sound reasoning, ALL the posts in ALL the threads were against the camera scheme? :scratchchin:

Looks like these guys will follow the route taken by CSCP (http://www.cumbriasafetycameras.org/forum) – their ‘temporary closure’ seems quite permanent!

It's possible that it's a technical problem.

We should ask them a direct question.

I suggest: "Can you please explain exactly why all the messages in your forum have disappeared?"

I'm not a member there - can someone who is a member please ask the question?

We may be able to have a pop at them for it. Keep me posted.

Hi Paul. I already did, via a new thread:

I applied my usual cynicism in the question

This seems a bit off to me.

When I requested info from the group i got a decent reply fairly quickly that admitted that speeding had very little to do with the accident rate on the A77.
Did you get a reply from anyone yet Smeggy?

Incidently what do you think the final score was on the Scamera poll?

last time I looked it was about 11 votes against and none for.

Apparently just technical problems, should be recovered soon.

You must be joking! How can anyone in favour of the scheme come back against an argument like that?

It’s good to see that Safespeed has joined the fray
