Reverse light on MOT for pre-2009 cars

My Z4 has its MOT tomorrow and the light cluster on the passenger side has decided to fail.
I have a spare but it's a Euro spec so has a red light where the reverse light should be.
Fully intend to get a new one but for MOT purposes, do they test the reverse light on a 2003 car/will it be an issue?
