Just a simple question. Do/Can Average speed cameras also act as ANPR (in the intelligence gathering role)
anpr everywhere my local council have put it all around the area to "monitor journey times", thats in sleepy somerset so we won't be first area to do it, we only just got litter police goons!Police can access the data if they are looking to trace movements of vehicles during and investigation.
Don't believe no police ANPR flags directly to the PNC when a vehicle with a marker passes.
Its certainly non being used to track unlicenced cars as someone near me who drive like a twit has a straight pimped a5 3.0 tdi with no tax since Feb and nothing is being done and the guy parks opposite a junction because his drive is 15 feet to far to walk!
