Cars v cyclist

I got bored half way through. The poor infrastructure is to blame for a significant number of these.
There needs to be an ASL for cyclists to wait in safely in front of the motor traffic.
And the reason there are so many cyclists on the pavement is because they are coming from Burgess Park behind the shot, which comes out there with no legal or sensible place for cyclists to come out to rejoin the road, especially if they want to go in the direction of the shot.

Don’t think it’s cars v cyclists, you get ignorant idiots in both groups who give everyone else a bad name. Problem is the person on a bike is gonna come off worse when it all goes wrong. Also the cycle lanes are complete s
t and half the time are just as dangerous as riding on the road

It's those tight leotards that drives them crazy. They're like lemmings out for a fight.
Yep, a couple of olives and a cocktail sausage wrapped in Lycra drives motorists into a sexual frenzy!take-good-care-of-the-forest-dewey said:

Another car Vs cyclist thread, best get the popcorn in. Bear in mind who causes the most fatalities.
Exactly. I'd like to see the stats for for how many fatalities caused by drivers vs cyclists..2.5% of pedestrians deaths are as a resault resault of a accident between a cyclist compared to a motor vehicles each year.
But then we need to considering the number of motor vehicles on the road and distances travelled/use compared with cycles.
These figures are for fatalities.

Ok so maybe it is excusable to go pass the line to wait for the lights to change but to ignore the light all together? There needs to be an ASL for cyclists to wait in safely in front of the motor traffic.

as for these riding on the pavement maybe there isn't a sensible place to rejoin the road but you can get off the cyycle when on the pavement and many are crossing the road and continuing on the pavement
