I'm assuming this is a Gov dept in charge of trackers. Had a scruffy bit of a letter half typed and half hand written poked though the letterbox of a property own asking for someone who has never lived there to get in touch via an 0800 number as "members of the monitoring staff have been trying to contact you to discuss your curfew"

I've tried to get in touch and explain, but they just don't answer. Has anyone ever got in touch with them?

Should I bother?

I don't want a bunch of heavies turning up and bothering my next tenants...

The hand-written bit on the "sorry we missed you" slip does seem very 'social worker' to me.

Is it from the probation service following up on an offender. Maybe you could contact them?

What do you think 0800 numbers are going to do?

Don’t worry there won’t be any heavies turning up.
My question would be if the note has been posted through the wrong door or not?
To be out on tag the residing address needs to be approved prior to the tag being active.
My guess is the note has been put in the wrong door.
You could make contact with your local probation office if you want to put your mind at rest.
Either way don’t worry.

0800 are free phone, about the only numbers you can trust these days
