Summary Procedure - Court claim against public sector help

I'm looking at raising a court action against a public sector org through the Summary procedure, the action itself is for >5000 and cannot be completed under the simple procedure act.

I am wondering if anyone has done similar before and went through the initial claims form? Its more grievance based and due to inaction and wrongful actions carried out my the organisation and I've exhausted the complaints process through to my MP and beyond.

For anyone else like me who was wondering what on earth the OP is talking about they're referring to a court action in Scotland.

I don't, as I've struggled to contact one who specialises or can take on such a case. It was quite complicated and from what I know, I can do but to put forward a clear argument It is better.

On the above note, my wife & I are looking to take a house builder to court for £10k, however we're going to cut our expectations & pursue a Simple Procedure for £5k in what should be a pretty much guaranteed win for us versus taking on the increased complexity of Summary. Not ideal but we're choosing to pick the easier fight here, without the hassle & expense of a decent solicitor.

I'm thinking is an alternative and something I may pursue, thanks for the suggestion!
