Parking sign help needed. New driver

Hi all, I am looking for some help on the parking sign.
I looked everywhere but can't find any help.

So as I understand I can park it outside the times mentioned without permit and voucher.. Am I correct?

Yes, outside those times there are no parking controls.

AFAIK it's to stop people leaving their cars there all day - such as commuters and staff of local businesses..

Aah so that's what Monday to Friday morning hours

And the 1 hour limit during those times otherwise (depending where it is) £1.60 for two hours then free
after that is pretty good going for a days parking.

Not sure how you get to 2 hours for £1.60, then free? I read it as 80p/hour at all times, limit 1 hour during those two hours.

If you turn up at 10.30 you can park all day for 80p, but if you're there between 9.30 and 10.30 then you're risking a ticket if you overstay your hour..

And given those displayed times, I assume it works well and allows for multiple people to come and go through the day.
