It’s 2022 so this would be a police prosecution. Ignore nonsense on the internet about laying an information.
Proceedings are commenced without reference to the court, but a copy of the SJPN / Postal Requisition and Written Charge must served on the court.
The day of the offence is not taken into account when computing the six-month deadline to commence proceedings. Therefore, the deadline to institute proceedings is 18 September 2022. You should contact the police prosecutor after the deadline.

Thank you, i just read that its +1 day for computing, as they do not take into consideration the day of the offence.
That being said, I have spoken to the court, they should be able to tell me if they have received any information shouldn't they...
How would i contact the police prosecutor? Devon and Cornwall Police.

Has it stopped you from being tempted to use the device while driving?

I'm sorry, but with most modern cars, handsfree is built in, there's no f
kin need to have the damn thing in your hand!! Does yours op?Sorry, I have Covid and I'm feeling s
t and ratty, so anybody caught using a HHD while driving should have his HHD inserted where the sun don't fookin shine! Would stop him using his fookin HHD whilst driving!!
Aand Breathe, s
t, I've got Covid, I can't!

I know this is from a few weeks ago but why on earth would you be contacting the Court a few days before the deadline? I'd be keeping my head down! Now it's moved on a bit, is your address correct on your driving licence? Might be worth keeping an eye on your dricving licence record online just in case they've taken action - if you don't respond your licence gets suspended.
