My MiL bought me a Gift Card for the Tottenham Hotspur tour for 2 people.

Unfortunately it wasn't direct with Spurs and the company stopped offering the tour.

They've said the Gift Card can be used on another expensive for up to 3 years, but is non-refundable.

The Gift Card was bought specifically for the Spurs stadium tour and even has the tour printed on the Gift Card.

Should I be able to claim a refund due to the tour not being available?

What is the best form of legal action to force them into a refund?

What do terms and conditions say?

The Gift Card was clearly sold for the Tottenham Hotspur stadium tour.

The terms and conditions say non-refundable.

My issue is the fact they were sold a Gift Card based on the tour being available and still had it on their website even when it wasn't.

If it was bought with a credit card the refer it to the card company.

I bought my parents a cream tea experience on a local steam railway. When they came to book the cream tea they were told there were no trips available. As the company had sold more experiences than were available.

I did get a refund eventually. The company initially tried offering a different experience
