Any US Lawyers on here who could point me in the direction of getting some advice re defamation / Libel ?
Thanks.
Judging by the Unsworth v Musk case, the threshold level of the effect of defamation is higher in the USAThanks.

Not a lawyer, but worked in US corporate environments for a long time, and I do know that US cases are harder to win than UK because you have to show it was a deliberately false statement, and is outside first amendment rights.
There are good reasons the UK is the preferred place for bringing libel suits.

Note that defamation and libel over here are state law, so you may well need state specific advice.
Each states specifics and thresholds are different, which is why you sometimes see cases held in odd places to take advantage of their specific laws... like johnny depp/amber heard in virginia, where neither of them live, but as there was a tenuous link to the washington post and part of their physical printing, the case was allowed to be filed there.
